To meet climate and competitiveness goals, industrial systems must become:

  • Flexible, to follow renewable power and demand fluctuations

  • Circular, to recover and reuse carbon and hydrogen instead of consuming new fossil inputs

ZEFIRA’s technology platform brings together advanced carbon membranes, membrane reactors, and emerging plasma systems into one electrified vision for clean production.

Our membrane and membrane-reactor units are validated at pilot and pre-commercial scale (TRL 6–7) through leading European demonstration projects, already enabling emission cuts in existing industrial assets.

In parallel, our plasma-assisted modules are progressing rapidly through R&D and pilot integration, setting the stage for fully electrified carbon-to-fuel routes.

Building on its proven membrane and reactor foundation, ZEFIRA’s Moonshot is developing a new class of plasma-membrane systems that convert renewable electricity directly into fuels and feedstocks.

These fully electrified modules are designed for biogas-to-X and Power-to-X applications, transforming captured CO₂ and other carbon sources into energy-rich molecules with unprecedented efficiency.
